Pilates & Yogalates

 

Pilates is a non-impact form of exercise that uses a mind/body approach to promote body conditioning and health. Over 500 different exercises can be applied in a balanced combination of strength and flexibility training to improve posture. Yogalates combines the strengthening powers of Pilates with the stretching benefits associated with many Yoga Poses. Reduce back pain and lengthen and strengthen muscles without the 'bulk'. The emphasis is on quality rather than quantity of movements. A series of safe and efficient exercises are performed with control, targeting the 'powerhouse' or core (abdomen, back and pelvic region). Pilates and Yogalates are suitable for all ages and abilities.

Classes are being offered weekly:

Why Should You Take It at Unique Fitness?

If you like small classes with no more than six (6) people in a class as well as easy-to-follow choreography, these classes are for you. Your instructor will get to know you personally and will adjust the program based on your fitness level. Small group classes will encourage you to socially interact with other participants. This will help you to eliminate social anxiety and make you feel comfortable and confident while exercising.
