Yoga & Yogalates
Through
physical poses, meditation and breathing exercises, the body and mind unite in
harmony. Hatha Yoga refers to the balance of opposites: sun and moon, male and
female, day and night, positive and negative, yin and yan. This philosophy will
be physically applied through a series of vinyasa (moves) to achieve a state of
balance by developing strength and flexibility of both sides of the body.
Yogalates combines the strengthening powers of Pilates with the stretching
benefits associated with many Yoga Poses.

Yoga will help you to strengthen and lengthen your body, therefore improving
your posture and reducing muscle and joint pain. Yoga has a very positive effect
on emotions and you will be able to reduce stress and to manage your hectic life
more easily. It is also proven to reduce back pain and the need of medication
due to back pain and arthritis.
Why Should You Take It at Unique Fitness?
If
you like small classes with no more than six (6) people in a class as well as
easy-to-follow choreography, these classes are for you. Your instructor will get
to know you personally and will adjust the program based on your fitness level.
Small group classes will encourage you to socially interact with other
participants. This will help you to eliminate social anxiety and make you feel
comfortable and confident while exercising.
