Claudia Botthof, Phd, MS

Claudia is a leading expert in the field of personal training and health. She has written close to 100 publications for local newspapers and online resources on topics as they relate to fitness, health and nutrition and served as an instructor for the American College of Sports Medicine for several years. Until 2015 she also served as a Certification Specialist for the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA). Claudia has earned her Masters Degree In Exercise Science at the University of Rhode Island in 2002 and her Bachelors Degree in  Physical Education, Health and Adaptive Physical Education in 1995. Claudia received her Phd. from the Clayton College of Natural Health in Naturopathy in 2011. She is an ACSM certified Personal Fitness Trainer and also certified by the International Sports Medicine Association and AAAI as a Yoga, Pilates, Aerobics and Aqua Aerobics Instructor. Furthermore, she is a certified Post-Rehabilitation Trainer (IDEA), Nutrition Specialist (FRA) and Kettlebell Instructor (NETA). The American Red Cross presented her with the credentials of an authorized provider of services as a CPR/First Aid/AED Trainer and Swim Instructor. Claudia has been a personal trainer for more than 20 years and conducts fitness and health specific presentations on a national and international level. Claudia is also a Level II Reiki Practitioner. As a Physical Education Teacher in Warwick she continues to encourage and motivate young people to lead an active and healthy lifestyle. She is an active member of IDEA (Health and Fitness Organization), AMTA (American Massage Therapy Association and  the American College of Sports Medicine.

Thomas Botthof, BS

Tom has a Bachelor Degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from the University of Rhode Island and is a Certified and Licensed Massage Therapist. He has earned a host of certifications in the fields of health, wellness and fitness. Tom is an ACSM (American College of Sports Medicine) certified Personal Trainer and Nutrition Specialist. Tom was also for many years a National Presenter and Certification Specialist for Personal Trainer Workshops for the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA). His expertise spans multiple disciplines including personal training, group fitness, muscular therapy (massage), weight management, Pilates and Holistic Health Counseling. The NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine) granted him status of Certified Corrective Exercise Specialist. He is a member of the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) and Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals (ABMP) and recognized as an approved instructor and authorized provider of American Red Cross CPR, First Aid & AED Training. Tom has a passion about his clients to succeed, feel better and reach their goals.

Larry Gallagher, Certified Personal Trainer

Larry is a NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine) Certified Personal Fitness Trainer and a Licensed Massage Therapist. He is a member of AMTA (American Massage Therapy Association) and serves as a Board Member for the regional AMTA chapter. He is extremely knowledgeable and well skilled in all disciplines involving massage and training. A serious accident in his past (struck by a car), which left him with a shattered leg, led to his perseverance that ‘great things’ are possible through massage therapy and continuous training’.
