Specialty Classes

We offer small semi-private classes (2-4 participants) in Yoga & Sculpture. Other classes target specific areas such as “Healthy Back” and “Stretch & Flex”. These classes are kept small so that the instructor will get to know you personally and will be able to adjust the class based on your individual restrictions and/or medical recommendations. Exercises may be performed for the healthy adult, but modifications will be outlined for individuals with known conditions.

Sculpture Class:

This class uses basic resistance training equipment, including light weights, tubing and bands to improve overall strength, flexibility and cardiovascular endurance.

Mondays:       6:10 – 7:00 pm
Tuesdays:      6:10 – 7:00 pm
Wednesdays: 7:10 – 8:00 pm
Saturdays:      8:40 – 9:30 am



Yoga Class:

Hatha Yoga will be offered. Learn the ‘Sun Salutation’ and other basic Yoga poses. The focus is on relaxation and breathing as you are guided through a series of poses. Excellent for strength and balance development.

Tuesdays:      4:10 – 5:00 pm
Saturdays:     7:40 – 8:30 am

Stretch and Flex (for seniors):

This class is specifically designed to release tight muscles. Age, overuse and injuries cause muscles to shorten which creates an imbalance in the body and limits range of motion. Muscles will be warmed up with easy workouts, followed by stretches for individual muscle groups to increase overall flexibility and mobility.

Thursdays:      3.10 – 4.00 pm

Healthy Back (for seniors):

Core strength is important! Back ache can occur gradually with age or be of a sudden onset. Take the first step to prevent it and strengthen your core muscles while offering more flexibility to the spine. Classes will offer core strength and spinal mobility exercises.

Wednesdays: 3.10 – 4.00 pm
